the sun is up, the sky is blue

so last night i went to UM with my mum to watch their festival seni. it's supposedly where all the colleges compete with one another in cultural events. which is cool, you know. because there isn't any excessive amounts of sunlight and sweat involved but there's still a lot of shouting and cheering going on. (which made me miss school a bit, to be honest. but anyway,)

they had a beautiful traditional orchestra. (and a large projection screen, apparently). the people behind me were talking during the performances which pissed me off greatly. the man in front of me was wearing earphones the whole time and i felt like slapping them out of his ear, dear god.

i really liked this performance. they won battle of the bands, or something of the similar sort. isn't it weird that's there's always a battle of the bands at almost every single function? uh-huh. they sang a song i didn't - don't - know, and an instrumental piece which filled my heart with glee. the keyboardist was probably why i enjoyed their performance so much, because he was all smiley and jumping around and genuinely enjoying himself which made me go :D

i also liked it when this one lady sang the mulan song, the reflections song? yay, disney.

federal highway like you've never seen it before. i love the night-time.

oh and this was from some time ago:

a pet monkey! the owner had a leash tied to the monkey's neck and he let it out during the red light. when the light turned green, he let the monkey inside. acceleration must be dangerous for a monkey hanging by a leash, i guess.
