am glad to report that i have at least finished one homework that was assigned to me, which was to watch an anglophone movie. ahahahahaha. i think i will be a good girl and do some extra research. :)
is it weird that everytime that i try to write about college, i can never find the appropriate or fitting words to string together to describe the experience so far?
my class is, in a brief way to describe it, is pretty much awesome. it's in the way we simultaneously wince at the morning bell (which is inches away from our door, btw), and nodding when our math and tok teacher asks us if we understand the last thing they said (even though we don't, and we all freak out afterwards) and passing food around during break, and the silly way of talking that has somehow become the trademark of our class, and of course the crude jokes.
the girls in my block are really nice and i always joke about how the tv room is empty the night before the week starts because everyone is last minute and is copying each other's homework. it's funny how a homework session turns into a jamuan makan-makan, gossip session about XYZ's boyfriend and a music exchange program. my roommate and i usually watch dvds in our room on weekends and wake up late the next day, sempat untuk subuh dinasour sahaja. har har.
non-academic activities wise? there's nothing much to talk about except my group and i have been going to an autism centre twice in the past month, supposedly to provide some service to the centre, but all we've been doing is playing around with the kids and missing class which is fun, OF COURSE. then there's choir; we performed at the recent graduation, which was inspirational, no shit; and we went to seri iskandar to compete, which we won first. ahahahah. there hasn't really been an english club meeting, which is pissing some people off, and my membership into the college's photography club is stil pending, so...yeah.
miscellaneous things about the college: the mak cik ds doesn't scold us when we come late for meals...most of the time. the koperasi sells things for dirt cheap, which i just realized after a recent trip to 7-11. the skies seem so near here you can almost reach out and count the stars at night.
ps, apologies for the lack of pictures. the miniscule amount that i took with my olympus is with my laptop and i am a lazy ass to transfer crap from one device to another, and i have yet to transfer photos from other people ie: from miss loh's camera, because siti khadijah's memory card decided to self-destruct and all the crazy/lame/embarassing pictures are wiped into the microchips of our memories. /emo.
pps, UTP is friggin pretty, it almost makes me wish i was interested in engineering.
ppps, free all week. PLS CALL.
